Our Journey as Anti-Racist Educators Professional Learning Community (PLC)

April 4 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

sezp education reform students

Participants have an opportunity to engage and commit to anti-racism as a community. Through a relational approach, the Anti-Racism PLC will focus on the impact of historical racism, implicit bias, identity and self-awareness. PLC participants will begin to build skills to become anti-racist educators committed to radically transforming conditions for teaching and learning in ways that advance equity, social justice, and social-emotional learning (SEL). The PLC is set to launch via Zoom on February 29, 2024 from 3:30-4:30pm. Following the launch, the dates, times, and locations will be scheduled. Any employee within SEZP/SPS is invited to take part in this opportunity. See the flyer here.

Participants will receive PDP credit upon completion. Please register at TeachPoint and reach out to Carolina Martinez or Kisha Morgan if you have any questions.
