Teacher Leadership Teams
We deeply believe that cultivating and sustaining high-functioning Teacher Leadership Teams (TLTs) is an essential structure of school transformation for both the scholars that learn there and the adults who work there.
At their core, TLTs are a vehicle for teacher voice, school-wide collaboration, shared decision-making and a way to ensure that all adults are working in unison towards a shared vision of just and equitable schools for all scholars.
Empowering teachers to have an authentic voice in shaping the vision, priorities, and working conditions for their school is a key ingredient in creating more nimble and responsive schools that can prepare our scholars for life beyond their K-12 education and earning a liveable wage as young adults.
