A lucky high school senior was awarded the David Vigneault Scholarship. Annually, the $1,000 award is given to a high school graduate hoping to pursue their education in public service. Former state Rep. David Vigneault died from Pancreatic cancer back in 2019. This year marks the 7th time the scholarship has been awarded to a local high school graduate.
This year, Davian Pagan received the award. He recently graduated from the Springfield Honors Academy. During his time in high schoo,l he was involved in the community and served on two campaigns.
