Free After-School Programs

Developing 21st Century Skills

Utilizing a $1 million grant from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the Springfield Empowerment Zone provides after school enrichment programs to SEZP middle and high school students.

These programs teach important 21st-century skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, public speaking, and the ability to communicate clearly. These programs help students gain new interests, build self-confidence, and become more engaged in school and learning throughout the school year. After-school program information will be coming soon.
